THE VIEW - NYC rooftops.

Summer is coming up so I decided to invite you to few great places in New York where you can enjoy yourself while admiring the New York City View.

1. Ava Lounge – Roof terrace of Dream Hotel.

Chic, palm-tree-studded décor with spectacular view on lights of Times Sq. Named after Ava Gardner, (late 50 movie star), styled with 1950s retro and French Riviera touches, AVA Lounge mirrors the actress's dreamy allure and stunning sex appeal with the best panoramic views.

210 W 55th St between Broadway and Seventh Ave

2. La Piscine at the Americano – Hotel Americano’s rooftop pool bar.

Surrounded by cozy cabanas and sunny daybeds , La Piscine rooftop lido makes a splash day and night. You can enjoy a view of Chelsea—including the High Line while sipping specialty cocktails. They have live music and deejayed parties in the summer. The High Line is a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. It runs from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District to West 34th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues.

Hotel Americano is the Art & Fashion Hotel in New York.

518 W27th St, Chelsea.

3. The Metropolitan Museum of Art Roof Garden Café

The Met’s roof-bar-gallery offers some of the city’s best views of Central Park. Plus you get the fantastic artwork on view.

This year art installation is by Dan Graham (born 1942, Urbana, Illinois), and it’s the second in a new series of site-specific commissions for the Museum's Roof Garden. Comprising curves of steel and two-way mirrored glass set between ivy hedgerows, Graham's structure is part garden maze, part modernist skyscraper facade. Viewers who enter the work are transformed into performers; in glimpsing their own reflections, they are also made acutely aware of the act of looking.

The Roof Garden Cafe and Martini Bar is accessible via the fifth floor elevator in the European Sculpture and Decorative Arts galleries inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art at 1000 5th Avenue. Open in May Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday: 10:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday: 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. (Martini Bar opens at 5:30 p.m.)

4. Monarch Rooftop Lounge with Stunning view of the iconic Empire State Building.

Located in Midtown Manhattan, on 18th floor of Marriott Hotel. Its Scandinavian chic decor features an indoor lounge that radiates glamour and allures with seductive appeal.
